Young Naturalist Day Camp
Outdoor learning and adventure for young naturalists
Summer Fun for Young Naturalists!
Come join us in the outdoor classroom for a half-day camp designed for adventurous youth, ages 7-12, with a love of the outdoors. Each camp includes hands-on activities and plenty of exploring! Learn about endangered species and how to enhance wildlife habitats, help care for a pollinator garden, make a positive impact on the planet! Camps are run by the organizer of the Green Herons, a grassroots environmental group for young naturalists!
Activities are open to both the local community and registered guests of Summer House Park.
Outline:
Each camp is a half-day in duration (3 hours) from 9 am until noon.
Some activities can be repeated in the afternoon if there is high demand.
Group size is limited to 12 participants.

Day Camp Registration Fees:
$25 + HST for SHP guests
$30 + HST for day visitors - access to park facilities for the day is included.
Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited.
